Derek is pleased to be directing again at Antrim. He directed Other People’s Money in 2013, A Streetcar Named Desire in 2014, The Man Who Came to Dinner in 2016, and the staged reading of Hunchback earlier this year. Derek first performed at Antrim in 1987 as Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and was recently seen as Boris Kolenkhov in You Can’t Take It With You and as Beverly Carlton in The Man Who Came To Dinner. Derek performs at numerous theaters in the area – Elmwood Playhouse, Shades Repertory Company, Red Monkey Theater Group, and others – and is a foreclosure defense attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County when he’s not performing. Derek wishes to pay his respects to Neil Simon, who recently passed away, as a master playwriting craftsman, as evidenced by Lost In Yonkers.
